Robert Matthews
CEO / Managing Partner
Welcome to Fleetwood Properties!
Over the last 44 years, Robert has been involved in every facet of residential and commercial real estate development. He excels in managing projects to keep them on schedule and within budget.
Robert specializes in both adaptive reuse of existing properties and new construction. He has extensive expertise building and improving single family homes, condo developments and apartment complexes for purchase or short term and long term rentals.
Robert assembles top performing teams for each project to ensure outstanding design, quality and return on investment. He has bought and sold over $141M of real estate.
When Robert is not sourcing and managing excellent real estate investments, he enjoys sailing on Lake Michigan, skiing and spending time with his family in Chicago and Northern Michigan.
Charlie has a MBA from DePaul University in Real Estate Finance & Investments. He is a Director of Multifamily Debt & Structured Finance at Newmark Group Inc, a leading global commercial real estate advisory and services firm.
In addition to his strong formal education in real estate investing, he has facilitated the closure of $1 billion in real estate sales.
Charlie’s extensive experience in financial analysis, underwriting and market research enables Fleetwood Properties to acquire properties that generate above-market returns.
Charlie is a big fan of Chicago sports and going to concerts.. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Charlie is involved in several charitable organizations through Newmark.
